Custom school P&C t-shirt
A custom design of the standard single-colour Forest Lodge P&C logo (as a fundraiser for the school P&C). We also did a holographic blue one too.
Equipment used: Cricut, printer.

Luggage repair
This 10-year old Crumpler bag will hopefully see at least another 10 years of life after being upgraded with two brand new wheels after the old ones fell apart.

Taylor Street sign
Laser cut & painted sign for the Taylor Street front door. Also vinyl lettering for the website/social links below.
Equipment used: Cricut, laser cutter.

Business card holder
Custom designed business card holder with engraved logo.
Equipment used: Glowforge laser cutter.

Mushroom Lamp
Repaired a battery-powered lamp that was failing to charge and the top had come loose. It was not designed to be opened or repaired, so getting inside and subsequently re-assembling without causing any visible damage or scratches was a challenge! We diagnosed the fault and got it working again.
Equipment used: Soldering station, hot air wand, multimeter, Cricut

Aperiodic monotile jigsaw
Laser cut pieces of the recently-discovered chiral aperiodic monotile - a single tile that tessellates infinitely but the pattern never repeats.
Equipment used: Laser cutter

Blunt umbrella repair
Repaired the pop-out mechanism of an umbrella that had been run over by a car (using some parts supplied by Blunt).

Butterfly T-shirt
Iron-on transfer, generated in the Cricut app and applied to a plain t-shirt.
Equipment used: Printer, Cricut, Iron

Dish rack feet
3D printed replacement feet for a dish rack.
Equipment used: 3d printer

Explorer robot
Replaced the "brains" of a cheap R/C vehicle to give it proportional control, wifi & HD video streaming, more speed, and significantly longer battery life.

Pregnancy doll
Crochet doll, with hand-made t-shirt with iron-on transfer logos on front and back.
Equipment used: Crochet hooks, sewing machine, overlocker, printer, Cricut

Reusable nappy
New or recycled fabric can be used to create absorbent layers for cloth nappies. This is an example of a preflat nappy using bamboo/hemp terry. You can also make prefold and traditional (square) nappies, or modern cloth nappy inserts from used t-shirts, towels, and other recycled textiles.
Equipment used: Sewing machine, overlocker

Supernova sweater
Custom supernova-inspired iron-on transfer for a kids sweater. Printed on transfer paper and cut & applied using the Cricut.
Equipment used: Printer, Cricut

Sushi party badges
Badges for a kid's sushi-themed party. Printed and cut using the Cricut, then hand decorated and stamped at the party.
Equipment used: Printer, Cricut, badge maker

Wall art
10-colour swirl pattern generated procedurally in Python and turned into vinyl stickers using the Cricut.
Equipment used: Cricut

Window decals
Custom window decals for Taylor Street Creative Space. The layout was generated by a computer program, and then the Cricut was used to make panels out of window frosting material.
Equipment used: Cricut
